Jason,

Wow!  What an incredible job.  All that dark gray! I take it BrickLink was
very helpful in the acquirement of some of the dark grey slopes.  How long
did it take to build it?

I really like the side ramp.  There appears to be a dark grey hinge under it?

An A+ on the landscaping.  You did a very good job making use of tan plates.

I also like the use of the clear 1x4x3 panels on the balconies and decks.
Very creative.

I can tell you did an excellent job trying to keep the model as close to the
original as possible.  Great detail.

Again, what an incredible job!

Kevin

Here is my second entry for the Town Building Contest.  The name of the
building is Windy Point Inn and it is a Bed & Breakfast located on the shore
of Big Bear Lake.  It is modeled after my family's Bed & Breakfast in Big
Bear, CA.  In actuality, the building is surrounded by more trees and is a
little further from the water.  But in an effort to keep the whole thing
transportable and so that you can see the building itself, I didn't include
too many trees or the landscaping between the building and the lake.

Thanks for taking a look, Kevin. In regards to the dark grey slopes, I only had about 10 when I started the project. So Bricklink was very helpful as I had to buy a little less than 600 2x3 33 dark grey slopes. I don't really know how long it took (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.town)
