Last year at this time I organised a Town building contest which turned out to be a lot of fun. I'm gearing up to do the same thing this year, beginning Feb 1st, so I'll just letting all you townies know that it's coming up (now you've had a chance (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general) !

(...) Yes, it is a 5 wide base on the front, and 6 in the back. That is pretty much standard of what I have been doing for the last 5 years for comercial trucks and ambulances (see my other brickshelf pages) although with the 2 "older" forestry (...) (...) Wow! that is some wrecker. There are a few big ones around here, but I havent seen any as 'crane-like'. They are more like the one in the movie 'Heat'. Just big & intimidating. Very nice. (...) Believe it or not, that is a real truck in operation by a private towing company here locally. There are only 15 like it in the world.
