  Re: January 2000 Catalog...

(...) Yeah, these aren't the only sets that have gone up; Train accesories have gone up, and some belville sets too. The new sets also seem much more costly on price per piece value. -Shiri (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  January 2000 Catalog...

Today, I recieved my January 2000 Lego Shop-at-Home Catalog. It seems kind of early, and the catalog is loaded with all the new 2000 sets. There are also a few sets in here that are going to seel out quickly, such as a small Pirate set and what (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Arctic sets are awesome!

(...) I am okay with the seperate polybags. I just mix all the pieces up in when I build, I like the challenge, but it is very easy for sorting pieces. All 1997 and 1998 Town sets and all 1999 City Centre sets are packed like this. Spaceport, Artic, (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Arctic sets are awesome!

(...) I am impressed with the new arctic sets as well. The polybag method has been around since Town Junior, but the most important aspect has been the good parts, and the ability to build a lot of model variations. I have so many model thoughts on (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Arctic sets are awesome!

Hey fellow AFOLs have you guys been as impressed as me with the new Arctic subtheme? I love the way each individual set component (i.e. vehicles, structures, etc) is polybagged with a picture of it on the bag. This is a great way to do things and I (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Town 2000?

In article <FIFp9J.Asr@lugnet.com>, sds87@hotmail.com says... (...) As long as I'm dreaming, I'll vote for something like the Dacta people set, only with 70's or 80's minifigs. I've got oodles of racers (who doesn't?) and dudes in blue coveralls; (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: Todd, can we have an Arctic posting group?

(...) Ugh, I would rather have it say generalized, can you imagine the misdirection's you can get into? You were supposed to post it in space.mtron instead of space. I say keep it general! Whatever the great Todd Lehman decides! Scott S. ___...___ (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.town)

Re: Todd, can we have an Arctic posting group?

(...) Actually, Town has about 20 "sub-themes," doesn't it? Everything from Arctic and Divers to Natucia, Outback, Paradisa, Launch Command, Time Cruisers/ Twisters, ResQ, etc... (...)
