  Re: Ambulance MOC

(...) I like it. Colors are perfect IMO, I like all the lights as well. Yeah, comparing it to FDNY ambulances, (I don't know what you were modeling it after) the cab looks a little tight & back looks a little long (to fit the stretcher?). Maybe try (...) (23 years ago, 2-Oct-01, to lugnet.town)

  Ambulance MOC

I just uploaded photos of an ambulance I made this morning: (URL) hardest part was the back--I devised a top latch since the white rear doors tend to push inward more than they should. I finally abandoned the idea, since it looked a little too (...) (23 years ago, 2-Oct-01, to lugnet.town)

City Map Questionaire! City builders sign your town up!

In order to create a semi realistic map where most people will be happy, I have created a rather detailed list of questions for people with Lego cities to answer. From the information I will create a map, as well as individual sites dedicated to (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.town) !

Rescue helicopter 480 in latest Mania

How odd, the latest Mania has plans for the 480 Rescue Helicopter, (URL) , saying you can make a near replica with parts from sets and doors and windows from Shop at Home. The funny thing is, I can't find any doors or windows that match in bulk. Are (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Set-Like Scale? (was: Is bigger better? Or is detail what counts?)

(...) I think it's amazing too. I'd love to have such detailed buildings (room for them would be nice!), but I know I'd get bored building them myself. Personally I don't have the budget or the inclination to build half-a-dozen identical storeys, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.town)

Set-Like Scale? (was: Is bigger better? Or is detail what counts?)

Hi, I was actually about to broach this subject when I saw I had missed the discussion. Looking around the internet it certainly seems there is quite an interest in building towns that have buildings that are both large *and* detailed. I must say (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: Metro: Cities of Brick goes live!

Check out the Open Directory Lego : Town: Communities Section. It is divided up by city size. (URL) have located pretty much all the LEGO City and Town sites that have something worth looking at.   Re: Metro: Cities of Brick goes live!

Dave, I like the idea of this site.   Re: A past Lego continent?

Eric, Yes, I would be interested in keeping up the map, on my site. Do you still have the information? I could create a new map, too. It would be cool to get as many cities involved as possible, and keep the maps topography and geography in sync (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: A past Lego continent?

Hi Dave, I did create that map, however several weeks later I fell into my dark ages (and still am in my dark ages). I wasn't able to keep the site up, and now I think that Homestead has deleted it. However, if anyone else wants to take up this idea (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.town)

  A past Lego continent?
