Re: town fire set complete (as complete as I want to be)

(...) large-size fire Mocs sound so cool...especially with larger-sized buildings and trains, and other vehicles. I want to change the look on the Snorkel Squad Truck into a dual axel front-boom Snorkel truck...instead of the design of it now (TLC (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: I DID IT!

What do you mean, you needed the parts? All you need are a few clear pieces and an A-Wing window, two Cessna-like wings, two engines, the bottom pieces of the aircraft,(pieces to make) the rear wheel compartments, and a piece to make the anti-tank (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: town fire set complete (as complete as I want to be)

(...) Wow, thats alot. All of my department consists of MOC's now, I don't like the Lego trucks because they are too small for my town. I'm also wondering if my contaiers for trains are looking a little small, and the trains them selves. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  I DID IT!

I finally found what I want to build from now on(for the next few years). After recently buying a B-Wing and X-Wing, and recalling how I had recently made a very good UH-1 Huey, I thought, why not build an F-5? Well, I did that, and also made an (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Townsfolk

(...) WE ARE ALL a little nuts, and yes, the faces are less of a happy appearance. Little yellow happy people, occasionally trying to maim/kill/imprison one another, but always smiling was part of the charm that brought me back to LEGO as an adult. (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Townsfolk

As I was wondering through my local Target a few days ago, musing on the poor state of affairs Lego has recently gone through, I also noticed something rather saddening: Lego faces have become rather mean spirited. I recall a time when even the (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: bad, BAD NEWS!

(...) I think you probably got a standard answer to your standard question. There are probably "millions" who ask the same question to LEGO, and they just ship off a standardized answer. Perhaps they will have to change this procedure in the future! (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.town)

  Re: bad, BAD NEWS!

(...) Well, on the one hand we have an unattributed email report, and on the other hand, a signed post in lugnet.lego.direct by Brad J. I know which way I'm betting. Like James says... LD does not hold the retail brief. Thank goodness. The retail (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.town)

  Re: bad, BAD NEWS!

(...) LEGO (the part that handles retail, whatever it's called) isn't... LEGO Direct, a very different part of LEGO, is. (URL) (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.town)

  bad, BAD NEWS!

I regret to inform everyone that Lego WILL NOT be re-releasing any sets. I e-mailed their product services and they said they are not doing such a thing.   More SFD fire equipment

I ran across a 6647, fire fighters lift truck at a K-mart today, for $15.00. This now allows me to provide my city with 3 departments. I will post more as they devolpe. Josh (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Just a little curious.........

(...) Buy a medium or large set. Fill out the form which is probably in the set. (Some recent sets have it printed on the side of the box, and some catalogs indicate which sets have them.) Put a stamp on it, and drop it in the mailbox. That's it. (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Just a little curious.........
