  Lego Theatre Contest

The local City Stage Community Theatre in Lego Landing just finished their performance season. I have posted 7 pictures from the shows they staged (along with some new photos of the town). (URL) was wondering if they are recognizable to anyone else. (...) (24 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.town)

I'm pretty sure I have 1-6, but 7 is stumping me good. The idea of a community stage is great...though you could probably do a bit more with it if if were sized a bit more like a band shell instead. Good work though! Matt (...) (24 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.town)

Better than me. I only have 1,2 and 5 right now (plus a guess on 6). Sheesh! I guess I need to go to the theater more often. Tim "Matthew Gerber" <matthew@digitaliris.com> wrote in message news:GD7056.135@lugnet.com... (...) bit (...) their (...) a (...) (24 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) 4) and 5) *both* look like Hamlet to me - although not normally performed in that order ;^) (24 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Lego Theatre Contest

(...) I like your first 6 choices...with maybe Death of a Salesman in number 7; another choice for number 6 could be Merchant of Venice Benjamin Medinets (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) ...ohh I nearly forgot.... while I agree with number 4 could possibly be McBeth...another option could be Richard I or II ....??? Benjamin Medinets (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.town)

You are very close - 5 out of 7. I might have to re-shoot 7, but I do think it is recognizable. But since no one else has guessed, you are very close to seeing the Matthew A. Gerber Center for the Performing Arts. (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.town)

NOOO...OOO!!! Arsenic and Old Lace? I've BEEN in Arsenic and Old Lace, and this looks nothing like any Arsenic and Old Lace I know! Matt (Not really upset, or bitter for that matter, though the Hamlet trick question was really sneaky, but Chuck (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Lego Theatre Contest

Well, I did want to make it a challenge.... I made a point of saying seven photos, not seven shows. And I made it skewed to Lego fans, because a non-fan would not have recognized the trumpet. I was in Arsenic and Old Lace, and it has a window, a big (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.town)
