no new town sets in 2001??? :-(

I was very upset at finding no new sets put out in 2001....what is The Lego
Group doing??? I am glad that Town Junior is temporarily gone, but I didn't
want them to stop putting out sets in the theme.
I have been a very loyal collector to the Town Theme....collecting sets from
every year since 1986....
oh well, at least I'll be able to catch up on the sets I want.....
(the only "NEW" set I like is the LIFE ON MARS theme - the space shuttle with
solar base - I think that is cool and could be a suitable expansion set to
my "SPACE PORT/Shuttle Launch" in my town!!!
Anybody else have some ideas??? Maybe we can all write to TLG and ask them
to kick out some new sets for 2002!!!! And some new, innovative sets....
(no more Police or Fire Stations!!!)
.....hopefully the Harry Potter line will bring some additional sets to
add to my town

| (...) You can expect a new Town theme to be part of a summer products release. We haven't seen all the new sets for 2001 yet. (...) The Solar Explorer is really cool and is a worthy addition to the Spaceport/ Launch Command subtheme. (...) I doubt (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.town)
