I came up with my own makeshift fire hydrants last night. Here's my way of doing it - Take a 1x2 plate (the one with only one stud on top, in the center) and place a 1x1 plate on top of it.      (...) ROFL That's a real small hospital! Mine is 32x40 and still very small compared to a real hospital - but it does have 2 operating rooms, emergency room, admitting office, waiting room, 4 wards all with bathrooms, and a nurses station.    (...) <snip> (...) I don't think the design with the 1x1 with 5 studs is any better. Granted the base is a round 1x1, but the overall hydrant is still square. Most hydrants don't have connections on 4 sides, the most common hydrant design has two (...) (25 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.town)
