  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Thanks, Jude. (and Tim, once again, for the cab design) (...) Thanks for that as well. Sometimes I wonder if I should be photographing the vehicles alone. Is this the building you're referring to: (URL) It is snotted only on the front. (it is (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Thanks. Good to hear. And, thanks again for the killer cab. (...) It was important for me to do it in dark green. I am going to work on another style cab in dark green as well. (...) I have until now avoided mirrors. My overall thought is they (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Jonathan, I think is a great design. But a few questions about the grey snot tile bricked building in the background... Is it snotted on all sides? Or is the snot just a facade on the one side? Is the building fairly solid or does it fall (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Hi Jonathan, I don't think the back is too high at all. And I think the curve looks awesome. You've really captured the shape of the rear perfectly. Overall this looks excellent. I especially love the greebles on it. They really look (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Another style Garbage Truck

Hello, This is my a truck I built over the weekend. It uses much of the the Mack style cab design developed by Tim Gould late last year. It is a design I really like and I am using it in forthcoming vehicles in a variety of colors. (URL) I am (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town) !!

  Re: Post office

(...) Aaron, Nelson, and Tim: Thanks! It is exactly what I was going for: a simple corner building. It will be hidden behind an elevated subway later this week. I have always wanted an El but the drag is that it hides the buildings . . . Thanks (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Neo-Mobile Command Unit - remake of 6676

I've gotten into taking the style of the recent ambulance/cement mixer style vehicles, and applying that style to old sets I am personally fond of. 6676 Mobile Command Unit was one of them. Here is my take on the set, remixed: (2 URLs) Hope you like (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Post office

(...) I was just saying at a fest on Saturday, 'has anyone managed to use those staircase parts for anything but a staircase?', and lo and behold! nice non-descipt building Tim (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Post office

(...) What an inventive way to use that staircase part! It really adds to the texture of the building. Spotlighted! "Big Daddy" Nelson (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Post office

(...) Very simple and modern. almost looks real. Love the use of the spiral staircases. Well done Aaron A (18 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Post office

Hello, I finished this building a little while ago and wanted to take pictures of it before my elevated subway hid it. It is a post office for my town. It is really nothing much in my opinion; just a corner building. I did want to point out that the (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town) !

  Re: Integrated tram curves

(...) Hi Pete, Right now it's just a proof of concept really but at some point I intend to use it in an integrated road/rail/footpath scene. Using a mix of studs up and snot road elements could improve things drastically. Tim (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Integrated tram curves

(...) That's the shizzle, right there. You're onto something here, mate. I think you should integrate it into a larger display. Have you thought about where you'd be putting pavements? Lovely. Pete (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Integrated tram curves

Hi everyone, I've been playing around with trams a lot lately as you may have noticed. I decided I needed some integrated track/road units... but curved. Anyway, after playing around with real bricks I came up with this system. (2 URLs) MPD> In my (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)

  New micro moc: Suburban Development

All: Hi there! It's been a while since I've posted a LEGO creation like this one. I love microscale, and for years I've been noodling around with it in my spare time, creating lots of little cars and 2-inch-tall buildings and things. But they (...)   Review of the 2007 Fire Station 7945

This is the first time I have written a review of a new LEGO set but I am very impressed by the new fire station (URL) That also may explain why it is on back order already at www.LEGO.com. I purchased one of the new fire sets over the weekend. This (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sector 4 Tribunal

Keith, Amusing and inspiring, as usual. I'm happy to see that you have embraced the blay, and incorporated it so lovingly with old skool gray. In my opinion, 4 grays are better than 2. Please tell me I'll be able to drool on the Sector 4 Tribunal at (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
