  Re: The Cube

(...) looks like it could have been built in the real world (by a crazy architect). But I wouldn't want it here in Sweden with a lot of snow on top :-) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

  Half-SNOT town street

This is one of my attempts at reducing the cost of creating "studs-not-on-top" (SNOT) roads for LEGO towns, while keeping the flexibility the SNOT technique gives us: (URL) presented version has the road surface two bricks and a baseplate above (...)   Spiral staircase

(URL) spiral staircase was built as the outside stairs up to the apartment above "Square Ghost Café". Play well, Jacob (posting his backlog of models) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Seagulls

This is two very small models, but I thought I ought to announce them properly anyway: (URL) is a couple of seagulls I built to populate a beach scene from the third "Indiana Jones"-movie ((URL)). Play well, Jacob (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  The Cube

(2 URLs) "The Cube" ((URL)) is the home of an architect. The ground floor is a combined kitchen, dining room and living room. The second floor hosts the home offices of the architect and his wife. The top floor contains a big bedroom and a bathroom. (...) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town)

  Re: Spiral Stairs

(...) SNIP (...) Thanks; I used one plate height so it looks like the minifig could actually walk up or down the stairs. Jeff (13 years ago, 30-Jun-11, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Spiral Stairs

(...) Nice work. It looks much more stable than the spiral stairs I usually build. Is there a reason the steps only are one plate high? Play well, Jacob (13 years ago, 28-Jun-11, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.castle)

  Space Shuttle booster factory

This year, for NALUG's annual train show, I've ended up building a weird custom train car to carry a Space Shuttle solid rocket booster (SRB), along with a factory to build the SRB's. Not exactly realistic, I know. :-) See: (URL) Gray (NALUG) (13 years ago, 11-Jun-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

new mocs: rooms full of furniture

i started another house in 2010, which is not yet completed but most of the furniture to fill the house is.   Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) I can't believe I forgot about this, but Spencer Rezkall did a 6-wide sport pick-up: (URL) (14 years ago, 31-Dec-10, to lugnet.town)

Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) Actually no, but I love that one as well and I'm annoyed that I forgot it. For some reason, I have the sense that the one I'm remembering came in either some kind of promo set or perhaps a S@H exclusive set. Darn this old brain of mine! Why (...) (14 years ago, 31-Dec-10, to lugnet.town)

Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) tasty model, jordan! simple but defining design, that's what i'm talking about! it's definitely got the feel of early (1980s) lego cars. nice job! ..jg (14 years ago, 30-Dec-10, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) For the life of me, I can't remember which set included it, but wasn't there a small pick-up in one of the Adventurers sets? I seem to recall that it had an opening tailgate and 1x6 arches for rear fenders? (14 years ago, 30-Dec-10, to lugnet.town)

Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) About a year ago, I was requested to design an American-style pick-up truck, and this was the result. I designed the original in LDD, and it has since been realized in brick as well. To me, the truck looks like a Dodge Ram. (URL) While I'm at (...) (14 years ago, 29-Dec-10, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: best official pick-up truck model?

(...) The unfortunate downside is that this design, while being almost exactly what I wanted to do for the Pizza Planet truck, is impossible to build without the cap over the bed. The most significant issue is that the B pillars on the back of the (...) (14 years ago, 29-Dec-10, to lugnet.town, FTX)
