Has anyone figured out how they built that, or put together some instructions? (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

I'm looking at the creature in question right now. It's a MOC created by Daniel Lipkowitz, one of the project managers here at LEGO Direct in New York -- I brought it as an example of Bionicle-style construction. (Sorry Daniel!) There was an (...) Alright! I picked up Gali and Pohatu and was able to build the Bionicowle. He's really cute but still learning to walk. Next: Please Sir would you draw me a sheep? Kopaka meets some Turaga... (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Does anyone have better close-up shots of the Bionicowle, or whatever it's called? :) I'd like to attempt building it as well. Thanks. (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

So, why don't we come up with some other Bionimals: Bionephant, Bioniraffe, Bion, Bioniger, Bionebra, Bionocerus, Bionigator, etc... Bonus points for including some geared mechanism in the little critter. :-) John Hansen (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Cute. I made my sheep's head go up and down with a gear. I can't decide yet whether to use plain axles on towballs or short throwbot arms (?) for the legs. The sheep's head is an upside down Nuju head (I think). Tentatively named "Biewenicle". (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Well, it's not Bionicle, but if you fold Jet into his storage mode, unfold the head and feet (not the legs, just the feet), and remove the rotors, you get sort of a "Throwbird"... -Andrusi && (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
