Kyle, care to share any more details about how you put this together? I'm
interested in knowing about different pictures/frames went into that 3 second
clip.

And of course how you created the zap effect. I can quite easily create the
fireball (I did a smaller version in my film Glowing Orbs) but the
lightning stumps me. You didn't draw each part by hand, did you?!

(...) Thanks for the kind words! It was all luck. I started with a pic that had fortuitous lighting: (URL) initial thought was just to add a lens flare using PhotoImpact (www.ulead.com). After a lot of fiddling around I added lightning: (URL) then I (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.animation)

(...) really cool - to me - how the slowness of the effects actually makes the segment seem longer than it is. Most folks who would show off a clip that short would have something that just went ZIP! and you wouldn't really now what you'd seen. The (...)
