I e-mailed this to the LEGO Webmaster (with some screen shots), hoping he
could help me out... posting it here as well.. any insights?
-----------------------
Last night I experienced sort of a glitch in my play and was wondering if
you (or someone on the web team) could assist me in finding a solution. Any
help you could provide would be most appreciated.
I had completed most of the elements that were available with the online
game, including breaking through the rock wall in the Le-Koro Highway to
finally discover Le-Koro. I proceeded through the forest and got to the big
tree with the pod elevator. I used the elevator controls to go up without a
problem.
HOWEVER, it was at this point that I lost my Internet connection. When I
had it restored, and pulled up the Bionicle site again, I seem to now be
trapped in the elevator pod, unable to make it go up or down. When the game
starts for me now (as I am a LEGO Club member and have been saving my
place), I am shown this same screen.
After moving all the levers to the up position, nothing happens now (but
before I lost the connection, I went up). I even tried turning around, but
here's another frustrating part... when I turn around, I see the EXACT SAME
SCREEN that I got when I started. I can't get out and I can't move.
Frustrating, to say the least.
So my question for you is, how do I get out of this predicament? I have
confirmed that this behavior happens on multiple machines, so it appears
that gave has saved me in this place inadvertently. This might be a cookie
problem, but how would I go about fixing that? Also, if I reset my cookie,
I'm assuming that I'll have to start the gave over from scratch. Is there
any way to solve this problem without resetting and starting over? Even if
it meant backtracking a couple of scenarios, I'd be fine with that.
Your help would be appreciated in this matter. Thanks for your time!
