Onua Nuva and Lewa Nuva on non-USA shop at home VERY early

2 of the Nuva sets have made a very early apperance on Lego Shop at Home. Set 8566 and 8567 (Onua and Lewa) can now be ordered in the UK, but not even pre-order in the USA. None of the other 4 sets are showing up at all on S@H at this time. I wonder (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Cahdok and Gahdok

(...) Oops. Sorry for replying to myself, but I realized after posting this that 8558 is $60, not $70. I still think the other two sets are a better value, but this narrows the gap quite a bit. John (24 years ago, 22-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Cahdok and Gahdok

(...) If you haven't already, you might want to check out the BZ review for this set at (URL) mostly agree with the review. Its a decent set, but I may end up using it for parts sooner than I expected. I haven't tried modifying them yet, so I really (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Cahdok and Gahdok

  Krana Codes

I've looked here and at K-P (albeit superficially) and can't find any mention of this at all. I was looking at the back of a krana and noticed three bionicle letters, forming some code. Each of the different krana have a different code. Has anyone (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

More Nuva News, including complete review of Onua Nuva

He also answers and gives good pics of all the parts and body armor, even talks about the arms/legs (they do not bend by the way). Full (...) (URL) has pictures of Onua Nuva at (URL) provide the answer to my question about knees. Thanks purple_dave! (24 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Toa Nuva have knees?

(...) Oh well, parts is parts. A bendy knee will be something to look for in the "Extreme Toa Nova Rad Spring Break 2003" line. (24 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Toa Nuva have knees?

(...) Well, we know that the CGI models and artwork for the original Toa took plenty of liberties with joints and range of motion that don't exist in the actual toys. I'm going to assume that remains the case until proven otherwise. (24 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Toa Nuva have knees?

(...) Unfortunately, I think its artistic license. According to a couple of the posts in the thread "NUVAs AVAILABLE TO PLAY WITH AT OUTLET STORES!, DOwntown Disney, FL" in General Discussion on BZ, the knees don't bend. John (24 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Toa Nuva have knees?

Judging only from some of the artwork in the back of the new sets' instruction manuals, it seems that the new legs on the Toa Nuva may have some kind of hinge-like knee joint. That would be a good thing. It's also possible that there is artistic (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
