Looking for our best solution in suspension set up and drive train, to give
a system able in winnig model’s heavy weight (3,5 KG) and technic gears
friction, I realized in collaboration with my friend Fabio this MAN 33-414.

Front steering axle equipped by Ackerman correction, two rear axles with
indipendent suspension system and a simple reduction ratio
8th:24th+8th:24th+8th:24th make the vehicle able to obtain a good
performance in velocity and in the max angled steer, also

RCX , actually used mainly as receiver for Lego IR control unit, support
line-following function.

Pneumatic function about overturnable cabin (note the large opening angle)
supported by external compressor unit similar to our Actros cement mixer:

(...) Can't say anything else then : WOW!! And if I look at the pictures again I only go :WOW! Verry nice work indeed. If it is ok, i'm going to copy some of the lifting mechanism for the tipper (using the same princip)? That was a realy good idea, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

(...) pinions used for the tipping is great. The suspension for the two rear axles is interesting. I noticed that the rotation point for the support arms (the two sets of 1x7 liftarms) is not concentric with the rotation point of the 24t crown gear (...) This is great. Looking at all the mechanics, it seems like it functions really well. What a great Truck! I also like the Pneumo tilt on the front cabin. The RCX fit in just nice and is well hidden. Very nice work! e (URL) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

(...) Hello Andrea & Fabio, This is a very good looking model! My compliments! Your previous truck, the MB mixer also is a very clever truck. I looked at the MAN pictures and saw the simple but very realistic looking tipping mechanism. Creating that (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)
