IIRC 1hp=0.75kW, a lego power motor is 9V*500mA=4.5W,
which gives 0.006hp.

According to the Random Hall Lego Robotics Seminar page
(http://web.mit.edu/sp.742/www/motor.html), the peak power of the geared 9V
motor is 0.87 watts, or 0.0012 HP. The non-geared (old style) 9V motor puts
out 0.37 watts, or 0.00050 HP.

Has anyone else performed measurements?
