(...) I managed to get 2 of the battle droids and a Slave 1 before they were recalled. BTW, the joint elements in 8012 are compatible with the Alpha Team arm and socket elements. I'm working on a humanoid mecha project with the pieces and so far, it (...) (23 years ago, 6-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I just returned to my local Wal-Mart to find all the new 2002 SW sets missing. They also pulled some of the earlier releases too (like 8009 and 8010).
