| April Fools aside and at the risk of offending purists I've started cutting up the 32173 Technic Liftarm 2 x 7 with 2 Ball Joints Cutting off the fake rams and the one ball joint which is off at an angle leaves a ball joint with a two hole beam (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

| Yeah, Roboslizonicles are a great source of supply of "raw" material ;) The part you describe yields a ball with a short length of cross axle attached from the other end when you chop it up as well.
