Admittedly I'm not too experienced with penumatics. But I think it
would be hard to achieve the precision needed for fine control with
plastic/rubber switches. And the quality control needed to fine tune
every switch so that they behave similar would probably be quite
involved?
Anyway, I'm happy with using other methods for these kind of
applications.
Perhaps the flex system can be used in applications like this?

| (...) Using feedback, it should be fairly easy. I once tried this with the current switches, and it sorta worked, but the "dead spot" is way too big, and those switches need so much force to move! It was harder to turn the steering to operate the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
