I thought that same thing early last year and tried to get a new group
listed under robotics called .sensors
After hearing all arguments against that, I started subscribing to the whole
.robotics group and now do searches for posts including "sensors".
It is little less thatn I desired, but it works.
I think Todd, Suzanne, and the team have done a fine job setting up and
adding groups. I don't agree with all groups and would like to see changes
and additions myself, but I can normally find plenty of focussed information
in groups that cover a broader spectrum.
