There is one conical gear in the serivce pack #5229 $4.50 from S@H. 1-800-453-4652 -- Bob Fay rfay@we.mediaone.net The Shop (URL) Magno <cmagno@home.com> wrote in message news:37EE8005.4300B6...ome.com... (...) (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)

Set 8417 Mag Wheel Master has two of them. About $29.99 at TRU. Expensive for just two gears, but it has some other nice parts. I got one a short time ago. -Andy Lynch Chris Magno wrote in message <37EE8005.4300B6A8@home.com>... (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I wouldn't say so. As a standalone set, you may be right, as one cannot build too much other than motor cycles based on the parts. Still I think the 8417 is quite realisticly designed and it has lots of useful parts. I like it. Fredrik (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I'm specifically comparing it to 8422 Circuit Shock Racer, from a few years ago. The new motorcycle is really a lot less cleverly designed, in my opinion. I had a lot less fun putting it together -- something I usually enjoy with 84-- series (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)
