I have had the exact same problem with that little assembly on the 8448
Super Street Sensation. Despite repeated attempts with pushing axle through
the holes I have not been able to pull the two elements apart yet. It's too
bad since I only have a few copies of one of those pieces. (the studded
plate with an axle insert)
