(...) Yeah, the Mindstorms computers are probably superior to the Code pilot, but I really like the the mechanical systems used here. It has some very nice gear trains and it's pretty neat how they made the claw open/close and the arm move up/down (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) machinery that hasn't come out as a Lego Technic set is the grader. Although I wouldn't mind seeing another crane/claw type vehicle either. These type of models are some of my favorites... (25 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Yeah I also like this model. The only probably I had with the drivetrain is that it's hard to motorize, but other than that it is quite innovative. And yeah, this set comes with tons of beams (I think the only set that might rival it in beam (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic)
