Well after approximately 5 hours, I just finished building my recently
acquired 8880 Supercar, and frankly it lives up to the hype...
Very good working features, drivetrain is quite remarkable.
The best part is the number of beams and other useful pieces there are in
this one set. Definately a must have for a keen technic collector..

| (...) I agree - to a point. I was disappointed with the chain drive to the engine, as it occasionally slips, though this can be reduced. | Yep. The 8880 is a truly awesome set. I just wish I could find some replacement parts to fix mine : ( Whatever you do, don't let those ultra-rare suspension parts out of your sight ! The only way to get more is to buy another supercar, since parting (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic)
