(...) Anyway, that looks great! I just got out my 8422 to compare and the color scheme is much better IMHO. It kind of looks like a fusion of 8422 and 8417, taking the functionality (front suspension) from the former and the neat appearance from the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Please BEWARE! any device that is meant for AC voltage will work with DC but at a risk of burning out the diodes in the rectifying bridge with too much current. I got an 8448 for Christmas and once finished thought..."Wow...Cool...Hey, look at this." Not soon after I found the entire driveline BROKEN!! I found this to be caused by a younger sibling turning the engine fan while the transmission was in (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
