Re: I am looking for inventories of...

(...) NO! (...) NO! lugnet.db.inv is for posting INVENTORIES, not questions. --Todd (25 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.technic)

Re: I am looking for inventories of...

Hi! You might try posting to lugnet.db.inv This newsgroup would be more appropriate for your request, although I don't think it would be too off-topic for lugnet.technic, so I've decided to add the newsgroup I mentioned to the FUT: list. Cheers ... (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.technic)

  Jet Alternate Model

I did it! Torso- pretty much copied from Ultrarex's dual throwing arm, from Jet's instructions. Most pieces in this arm are found in Jet (in different colours). I was missing one friction peg, as Jet only comes with three (one is a spare), but it (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic)

  Re: How would one make...

(...) There are a number of ways to make a propellor or rotor from an 8448. Use your imagination. For example, take one 2x8 technic plate (with holes). Stick one technic bushing into the centre hole. The studs go into the notches on one side of the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: q about the technic fig

(...) I'd say the 30.4x14VR wheels are best, but it depends on if you want to make an SUV or a small passenger car. (...) Yeah. Here are some cars that match the Technic figure: (4 URLs) (My fav) (URL) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  How would one make...

an airplane propellor or helicoptor rotor from just an 8448? Is it possible or do I need to buy, say, an 8444 to get the parts? (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

what type of car is the 8448?

Does anyone know what type of car the 8448 most closly resembles? if so, does anyone have a picture of this car? (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  q about the technic fig

What wheels would work best if I was going to make a normal car with normal wheels that was to scale with the technic fig? Also will the technic fig fit into the technic seat piece? (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: super cars

I've done a quick bit of modification to a 8448 image filling in the panels and such, see it at (URL) . The fourth generation Camaro does look a lot like the Super Street 8448, but I think the Ferrari 550 Maranello fits it better. The 550 has a (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Silver Champion - FULL size at Fisketorvet/Copenhagen

(...) Great pictures! I went to Fisketorvet yesterday (Friday) to get a closer look, but the Silver Champion had allready been shipped on - so don't bother to travel to Copenhagen for that reason! Greetz, Soren (25 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.loc.dk.kb.kob)

  I got the Jet Throwbot!

***** 8504 Jet 42 pieces $5.99 US/ $9.99 Canada (paid $7.99 Canada, as LEGO was 20% off) Pros: it's fun to build and play with Cons: none of significance Jet is great!   Re: super cars

(...) Thanks! I must admit, though, that the model was very unplayable. While it did have a lot of working functions, the weight and bulk of it implied that it wasn't any fun at all to push along.   Re: ROLLBACK! (Insanely cheap LEGO at Wal-Mart)

Thanks for the info, but where is this Wal-Mart located? The on-line store at Wal-mart.com appears closed for renovations. And Wal-Mart's sales vary greatly from store to store. To this day, I have not found any good deals in the Mid-Hudson Valley, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.technic, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.market.shopping)
