Well, I agree and disagree. I don't think Advanced Builder should necessarily
indicate someone who can read instructions well. Even in the 8448, there were
times when the added parts were VERY difficult to find, either because they
were partly obscured, or because my eyes aren't what they used to be.

But I do agree that, in general, the steps could move along more quickly. But I
think people who build quickly will just wind up flipping pages. I don't know
anyone who minds having a little more detail than they need. I'd rather err on
the side of too much info rather than not enough.

This is maybe good for the smaller sets, but for the expert-sets it's horrible
I think. With the older sets you have to search a lot of bricks, and than you
have to look where these parts have to be.

I think the expert-sets can be build by non-experts at this moment. It isn't
difficulty anymore!!

Well, again, what is an expert? A 14 year old? A really smart 7 year old? A 33
year old kid like myself? I don't know the answer.

But I do like the newer numbered parts containers, and I don't mind moderately
simplified instructions. These are still toys, even though I'm sure Lego
understands that adult kids buy a significant amount of their high-end kits,
both from an economic standpoint and a difficulty standpoint.
