  Re: Appropriate Size Supercar Figures

(...) Scala figures would be your best bet. I think they're still too small, but they're larger than any other (current) LEGO figures. Of course, you'd then have the LEGO equivalent of Barbie's Dream Corvette. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Pneumatics Page has moved

Hi folks, Here's to inform you that my pneumatics page has moved to: (URL) original site was getting kinda cramped with only 2 Mb space, yep it was that litte. The new site offers much more room but has a few quirks like not accepting files with (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: Has Anyone Joined the Dark Side Yet?

(...) Can you tell me how they work? I can see that the upper legs are two parallel beams, which can control the angle at the knee joint. But, what operates the horizontal bar at the top? It would have to tilt this bar at the same time as driving (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Rounded technic beams: Which sizes?

(...) None that I've seen. And I *am* watching closely for them ;-) Some of the new Race sets use the 5-hole beam for suspension swingarms. That's all I've discovered so far that hasn't already been mentioned. I'm hoping Lego will at least put (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Rounded technic beams: Which sizes?

(...) I do not know the length, but there are some of those beams in the Dark Side Developer Kit. They're used for the legs so they are fairly long. Eric. (25 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Rounded technic beams: Which sizes?

Hi, I've noticed the introduction of rounded, straight full-width technic beams lately. For example, there are five hole beams in the 8002 Destroyed Droid, and there are 15 hole beams in some of the speed slammers sets. But which other sizes exist? (...)   Re: Technic & robotics-compatible LEGO ZNAP clearance at TRU

TRU in Fresh Pond Shopping Mall (Alewife, MA) had the larger sets (as of yesterday), i.e. #3591, #3552 and #3571 as well as some 3581 Formula Z Car in Storage Box (no motor). I bought a few, but left many (at least 20 I guess). Note that TRU online (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.technic, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Technic & robotics-compatible LEGO ZNAP clearance at TRU

(...) Thursday July 20, 2000 6:00 PM the TRU pricer had marked all but 2 sets. None of the sets revealed prices at the bar code scanners available to shoppers, but did produce the sale prices at the check-out scanner. ZNAP sets did not occupy the (...)   Re: Has Anyone Joined the Dark Side Yet?

(...) Oops, I haven't built my Tie Interceptor yet! Maybe I don't deserve to be a Sith Master after all. No wonder the cape wasn't in the box. :-) -- David Schilling (25 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Has Anyone Joined the Dark Side Yet?

(...) The internals seem identical. The colours are different. Darker, if you know what I mean! :-) After all, the best part about being on the dark side of the force is the dark cloaks you get to wear, right? I'm still looking for mine, though. (...)
