Re: Another pneumatic compressor and pressure switch designs

I've seen lots of designs but none have enough power, air-wise. I need pressure and volume! I made a good one once using two of the large spring loaded pumps. But that was using really old technic motors.... the mindstorms motors are much to weak to (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Transmission help(how to build, I have all the parts)

How do I build the transmission on the Supercar 1? I have all the parts but I don't know what to build just for the transmission and where the input & output axles are. (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Set Identification

Michael, The first set you described sounds like it could be the 8422. I picked it up recently and it is a nice model with 300+ pieces. It is very similar to the blue 8417 motorbike. Keith Blumenthal (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Set Identification

The second model is probably 8836, Sky Ranger. It might also be a partial of 8425. Not sure about the first one. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Set Identification

I acquired some technic models ready built at the weekend but there were no plans and I am having difficulty identifying them. One is a motorbike in mainly red similar to the 8838 but more sophisticated. It has two headlight discs with a bluey (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Stupid Throwbots question

Have a little confidence in yourself! I reacted the same way when I first noticed the partial instructions for the giant Throwbots, but once I started building them it was quite simple. I almost decided not to even try, but I'm glad I did. You just (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

You're right, the disks are not random. The picture on the box shows exactly which disks you get. Boxes of five discs are $2.50 from Lego Shop at Home.   Quicke question on 8448

Does anyone know why the gears in the gearbox on this model are rounded like that? Why didn't TLG use standard gears? Mike (25 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)
