As long as you've got 9V motors you can hook up to the Power Functions unit you should be okay, just don't expect it to behave the same way as Power Functions motors do. On the S@H page ROSCO provided there is this: "Allows you to connect your LEGO (...) (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)

Hope that I'm not bringing up old news here, but I noticed that LEGO Education is offering a new set of pneumatic components for pre-order.   motorization of 8466 sized model
 
I have been working at making a monster truck with 8466 wheels. Everything was going well until I was sorting out the propulsion. Has anyone had any sucess in motorising a large model that would travel at a reasonable speed? I think that there is a (...) (16 years ago, 27-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)
