I really liked this model, especially the amount of features built into a nice
looking package. My only complaint was that I'd have loved to have the real
unsprung rocker-bogie suspension modeled, even if it would have come at the cost
of the four-wheel steering (yes, and then I would have complained that it would
be nice to have four wheel steering as well :) ). The "deployment" of the model
elements, as well as the look, is really nice. This was also my first large
studless build, and a real education in that regard as well.
And when it went on sale, it was a great parts pack :). It turns out the blue
panels with Technic holes make very nice blades for sumo (you can see a portion
of this here, but I've not got full pictures on-line):

I built this set the day Spirit "hit dirt", and decided I'd only take it apart
once both Spirit & Opportunity "died" or were shut down. After all, that was
only going to be about 90 sols. 1,542 sols later, and I'm still waiting... :).
And hey, they even have minifigs (images) on the real flight hardware, so I'm
happy.
