hey!

i want to attach a normal lego stud (or its bottom counterpart, doesn't
matter)
to a rotating technic axle, so that a normal 1x1 plate, tile or brick can
rotate
with it.
- it HAS to be only 1 stud at the end, something with 2x2 may be inbetween
if it
makes mounting easier
- it should be held as firmly as possible. it should neither slip if the
brick
encounters resitance, nor break off all too easily.

i know it's a lot to ask, but maybe there's a way?

the best way i've found is connecting the axle to a 1x2 brick with
axlehole.
this is coupled to a 1x2 brick with the round hole on top and bottom so
that
both hole centers align. then i can insert a stud into the round hole.
it works, but it's pretty bulky...

some stuff that doesn't work:
the stud on the 3 long axis with the stud, it doesn't attach firmly
enough.
a 1x1 cone ( http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4589 ). it holds a technic axle
on the
bottom, but it's just too weak.

thanks for any ideas!
