My, but those cheap digital cameras do have an odd habit of making red into
pink, don't they?  :o)

Makes me wonder if more people would've bought an 8448 if it HAD been made
in pink!  ;-)

I already posted about my 1/2 volume supercar II, and have been • suggested

make a seperate post about my work in progress walker. It runs on • pneumatic

Poor quality the photos might be, but the walker is superb!
I've seen a few posts about TLG running out of ideas and the general • lack of
new pneumatics sets - your walker and the 6 legged spider one would be
fantastic sets for Lego to produce, obviously with lots of bells and
whistles...

That is magnificent--what's more, I really like the look of the "tubes." • Give it
some eyes.  *now*.  It looks for all the world like some kind of bizarre • animal...

Hmmm...how often do you have to pump it for each step?

Lindsay

Haha!
I just tried it out and it's something like 20-30 times per step. With
practice you can get a reasonable pumping speed but it looks incredibly
perverse! Besides, it still won't actually walk without a little • assistance.
I'm taking a bit of a break right now from this. But rest assured it SHALL
walk unaided!
