    Question about 8269 —Will Hess
If anyone here will admit to owning an 8269 I have a question about the fan blades in the teal model. Are these actual parts or some type of sticker / decorated element? If they're real parts would anyone be willing to trade them off? Thanks, Will (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

They're stickers. And I only bought 'em 'cause they were on sale at walmart.com. (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question about 8269 —Dave Johann
(...) They are stickers on a white round disk with a technic peg holder for the center. I do have the pieces for sale or trade complete with the unused sticker set if you are interested. (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) IIRC (I'll have to look at home), they were stickers on a black round disc. Dan (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

Yep, that's correct. The discs, btw, are the same piece as the discs used as the "targets" in the first round of CyberSlam sets from 98, except they are black (as you say), instead of white.
