It looks good to me too. Ive had good success with diagonals connected
to the studs on the outsides of the beams. One example:
I imagine that your design, with the diagonals sandwiched in their
connection, might perform okay. However, the main chords of the truss
in your design arent continous (i.e. they arent Technic beams placed
end-to-end). I believe that having continous chords contributes a lot
to the strength.
But youll just have to test your truss and see how it works :-)
