(...) It probably works just like a forklift chain. It doubles the extension distance but cuts the mechanical advantage in half. TLC probably is using it the same way they use the chain in the new forklift set. One serious question does arise- Why (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

IMHO TLC is not producing longer cylinders becase when piston is sticked out it can become bent in two ways 1. as a rod 2. in the place where rod's connected to the piston (inside) it is a very big problem to make piston's rod stiff and seal it up (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)
