(...) To me, this crane reminds me very much of the 8431 crane only with studless pieces and stuff. The main thing stopping me from getting one is the wheels (which are useless to me) (20 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi, this is _my_ original picture: (URL) scanned the official 2005 german dealer catalog at 27-11-2004. The crane pic is from the back side of the catalog. In the middle of the catalog the crane was shown with box, but it was very bad to scan. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hmmm maybe you're right, and those elements are used to hold the outriggers too. I thought the 2-stud section at each end of those was separate, but looking at the boom, that isn't really possible. Oh well, maybe not as useful as I first (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)
