| Does anyone know what metal the large technic hook is made from? Or what coating (paint etc) is applied? Is it waterproof (i.e. will it rust if I get it wet?) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) The joke was terrible. If you were in sydney you would have been hit. However i believe this set is a worse joke. I have my reservations about the enzo, i agree it doesn't look like an enzo. | (...) I found Autosol metal polish paste, when buffed on, make them quite shiny. (I have not tried this on lego pneumatics yet, But doubt there will be a probelm) I claims to prevent rust and tarnish, and all the items I polished have not corroded (...)
