These are outdoor products, as Rob has noted. These are water and
mud-resistant--of course you know little boys will want to run these through the
mud!. I was lucky enough to see the prototypes at Enfield last year, but I
couldn't talk about them. I've heard cases where LEGO employees got to test
these out, and really put them through a hard beating, trying to break them
apart...and failed... I know there are special rubber parts in them that absorb
a lot of the shock from outdoor racing.
I know that I'll be buying one!!! These look like a lot of fun...and for once,
I can take my LEGO outside and get a little sun!!
