i got an 8462 for xmas this year... great set... but..
it *won't* tow your supercar (either 8448 or 8880)... the scale is incorrect..
it's scale is that of any vehicle using the new, "silver", low profile wheels
(sets 8432, 8428, 8417).. in fact, i also got an 8428 and the tow truck tows it
*perfectly*...

it's a fairly technical set.. not as sweet as the 8480 or 8448... but probably
one of the best from last year.

Speaking on scale... I don't have the 8448, but I am working on a MOC using the 8448 wheels and 2x2 cylinder/pistons as in the IndyStorm and others (I believe the same as the 8448 from pictures I've seen). Isn't the finished engine a bit out of (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)
