  Re: You get to choose!

(...) At least they did re-release 8459 (as 8464). Though not a "legends" release, it certainly made me happy 8?) ROSCO (22 years ago, 13-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

  Re: You get to choose!

So I'm not the only one.... that's a bit of a relief. My two cents on the choice of five sets? I couldn't care less! Why are they all minifig sets again? My choices for legends: Constellation, what can I say? But it has to be with the original (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

RE: my thoughts on a technic legend

My favorite is still the 8062 Universal Set. I sold the Technic case to a fellow AFOL and put the contents into a little PLANO box. It's the set I use when I travel light and need a diversion and the one I can use with the kids. It's not too (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: my thoughts on a technic legend

(...) Good idea! Depending on what era you select the sets I think a large degree of parts overlap could be achieved, particularly if you were willing to be slightly forgiving when it comes to colour. A set I really like is this one: 8872 Forklift (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: my thoughts on a technic legend

My wish, for a Technic legend, is somewhat different from the "traditional" legend concept. What I would like, due to the fact that my dark age spanned the golden age of Technic by all accounts, is; A Technic Legend SuperSet. This would have a mix (...)   my thoughts on a technic legend

Based on how things have gone before and what I know about the market for "big technic" I can recomment these attributes for a technic legend: 1.should cost <$100 us (when it was first released anyway) Anything more than that would have a more (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: You get to choose!

Excellent stuff Jake, I shall be voting but... I do have one small cavil and I really hate to do it after you have put in so much work but there has still been no Technic Legend. Is this because Technic sets are so large that it is feared they would (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

  Cool MOC on Brickshelf

I found this on Brickshelf and thought I'd pass it along. I thought it was pretty cool: (URL) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: More back hoes..

(...) That's why my first attempt at an "agricultural" vehicle was the humble lawn tractor. I was able to get away with Silver Champ wheels turned white writing side inward. These tractors have hugely wide tyres so they don't damage the lawn. The (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: More back hoes..

(...) Daim. I'm trying to find a vehicle that actually has tires that wide but they are hard to come by. A forest harvester would be cool somday. (...) That's what it's all about, borrow the good ideas and improve them. We should all do that. /Tobbe (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
