  Re: Wire question

(...) But if you went out into the real world and collected all the wires in, due to manufacturing tolerances you could probably find any lenght between the max lego make and the shortest they make. So after a certain minimum number (say 10)you (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wire question

(...) Well, not exactly. Your length will be one value, the sum of all the non-modified Lego wires (the individual leads). However, the "distance between ends" can be any distance less than or equal to the total length. TJ ;-þ FUT: (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wire question

(...) From the Lego purist point of view you can have an infinite range of lenghts by joining any number of leads together. Any excess you can just kink back on itself like you would in any moc. Steve :) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) If you look through the Bricklink listings for this part: (URL) you'll see the different lengths available. I know the selection isn't exhaustive because it's limited to what people have for sale, but it's a start. From the Lego non-purist (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

According to the parts reference database on Technica, the Throwbot/Slizer gearbox appears in three sets: 8504 - Jet/Judge 8506 - Granite/Rock 8507 - Electro/Energy (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic.slizer)

  Worm gear box

On www adress (URL) read that there's some kind of gearbox in Slizers. Does it contain every Slizer or only some of them?? Thanks in advance Robert (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic.slizer)

(...) Uh, doh! Thanks for picking up on this. I have to admit to not looking the part over very carefully. When I get home tonight I'll look at it closely and measure the gear diameter. Oh ok *whew* - I thought you meant 35 different SETS, didnt think about the various alternatives that were in a given set. But I would like a list, so at least I can have a reference (might not be able to build all 35 or so AT ONCE, but I think I (...) (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)
