I am normally very impressed with the quality of the design which appears in Lego sets, particularly Technic, with the possible exception of some of the sloppier steering mechanisms. Haven't got any scans, but I was looking at this beastie very recently in a top shop display. It would seem that the 'Technic Liftarm 1 x 7 x 3 with Gears (32311)' plays a pretty major part in the mechanism. Also, there is a very clear picture of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

I downloaded the free version of Pop Up Stopper. After double checking the settings and clearing out the cache and restarting the computer the software still does not work. How did you get it to work? (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) If the motor is spinning at 350 RPM, then the final output will rotate at about 0.17 RPM (with a 1:2016 reduction), ignoring friction losses. That's pretty slow. If you ignore frictin losses then the torque output will be 1210 ft*lb! (assuming (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)
