I'd imagine that the Throwbots and RoboRiders weren't extraordinarily successful, but they were successful enough without Lego having made any attempt to promote them that Lego realized they could be extraordinarily successful if they did something (...) For me, Bionicle got me looking at Technic as a whole again: not for the sets, but for parts to make better er mechanical men ( I wouldn't call them any form of Bionicle and I might get flamed if I call them Mechs ). I just posted the site because they're such a good example of why kids would want more than one of each set. These are my Bionicles: (...) (...) Ah, yes! You did the Ultra Throwbots, right? Most excellent. If so you were the reason that I wanted to buy (but never did) two copies of each throwbot.
