Re: IR Controller in 8539 Manas

(...) Does this mean that the set actually comes with a total of four (4) external motor units? Or does each IR-controller comprise two built in motors each? It's not obvious to me if "motor output" above means an electronic socket to which a motor (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: IR Controller in 8539 Manas

well I've already got both motorized and radio controled, I just need a more compact and lighter motor system ( I was going to use a no-lego motor, but now I'll try this) Gary Hao-yang Wang <hywang@pobox.com> wrote in message (...)   Online game plot line

Okay Okay Okay I won't "try and ruin the game but here is my thought. Right now I am looking at the winch on the ledge in Ta-wahi. The winch instead of going to a area like ko-wahi or le-wahi it goes straight to mount Ihu (the Big mountain in the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) You might want to take that Maori refresher course, the script actually says... "...went to Po-WAHI, and..." Po-Wahi = Land of Po(hatu) Po-Koro = Town of Po(hatu) For those that haven't seen it, the rock we're discussing is after you've taken (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) I finished the big Rahi last night. The moving mechanism and the arms are essentially the same as the crabs'. The claw does get equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, so when the "palm" touches something, the claw snaps together. The (...)   Re: A review of 8539 (Manas)

Everybody, John Barnes posted the following amazing article on lugnet.robotics! (...) The gear ratio between the two types of axle holes is about 5 : 2. (The "through axle" turns faster.) On a light load (i.e., the big Rahi waves its arms), the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

No, I definitely got the chronicling device, just had to talk to the village leader after saving the desert village if I remember right. Oh well, maybe we need it in part two... "Slayer of Makuta" <nzovu@netscape.net> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) I don't know -- Those big cars are barely (or non-) moveable with the 9V geared-down Technic motor. The motors in the IR receiver, at 4.5V, are no more powerful than the Technic motors. Cheers, Hao-yang Wang (24 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

My friend went to Pohatu, and all I got...

Hello all, "My friend went to Pohatu, and all I got was this lousy rock!" Anyone else catch that one? The humour in this game really is excellent.   What is it with these infected masks?

I thought that they are supposed to be rare? So far I have got three of them out of 31 packs of masks. I am having a harder time getting some of the supposedly easier to get masks.
