Re: New Civil Engineer letter - printed!

(...) That's great! I'm happy to see this happen. The letter made some good points and I think it's very convincing. Thanks for going to the trouble to see this through. Lego fans everywhere should be happy. Let us know when you upload the letter. (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Bionicow (was: I like Whenua)

So, why don't we come up with some other Bionimals: Bionephant, Bioniraffe, Bion, Bioniger, Bionebra, Bionocerus, Bionigator, etc... Bonus points for including some geared mechanism in the little critter. :-) John Hansen (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

New Civil Engineer letter - printed!

Dear All To my considerable amazement they printed the letter! I'm at home today so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to scan and upload it. It's the first one on the letters page and is accompanied by a photo of a large Lego bridge. They cut it a (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Seduced to the Dark Side, Bionicles

  Re: Can the Manas turn?

(...) Actually, tanks can turn very well. One tread moves one way, the other moves the other way. Tanks style steering is very useful; I use it in nearly all of my robots. I don't doubt that the Manas can turn. (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Can the Manas turn?

(...) They should be able to turn. I'm going to try and make some thing that looks like the manas and see how the moving works. But one thing bothers me.... How could those huge treds turn?!!??!?! Ask your self can a tank turn than go to Manas they (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Makuta's many forms

(...) Ga-Koro than youv'e seen Gali kick the Rahi's ass. And she managed to get the mask off to make the rahi faint. After the movie you can go back to the the hut that was under water and you see a Tohunga taking care of it. He says that it is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Rahi

(...) I saw Nui-Jaga and Muaka and Kane-Ra at TRU in Colorado. My birthday is coming up so I'm getting the Mauka and Kane-Ra =) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Manas?

(...) Mauka and Kane-Ra but they have more # of pieces. Most of the Manas' body is the motor. I think each controler is coded diffretlly so only one controler is used to control one Mana. But how will you know what each one goes to? The controls are (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)
