Re: Off Topic: Hopelessly looking for tires

(...) Now this begs a question... Why did TLC produce two very different tyres and mark them both "20 x 30" ? I'm referring to the largish one found in 8862 Backhoe Grader and the newer one from 6617 Tough Truck Rally. I have one of each in front of (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: converting 8880 4 wheel drive to regular hubs

(...) Just a quick comment here. The new 4x4 which is due out soon will probably have the parts needed to build just what you want. If you can wait for it's arrival, that is. I've heard reports from people who have played with it that it does indeed (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: new 4x4's ...June 1st?

(...) No, I have not seen them but I am also looking, by the way did anyone else notice that the model number 8266 is the same model number that is used by an old cyber slam set? I know Lego has repeated model numbers before, but not usually that (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle going away?

(...) Looks Great! Your collection is most impressive and the display is awsome! I'd like to know how you went about gathering the many colors.   Re: Bionicle going away?

(...) I don't know about you, but (t) at least in my case the main point of my butt is it's functions and not it's looks or anything else, so I guess it is 'Technic' in spirit after all! :-) - David (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle going away?

(...) Oh, I don't know about that. If your butt came out of a press in Billund, it could very well reflect the spirit of Technic. (Technicicity?) But of course, it was LEGO who wrote 'Technic' across the lid-that-is-a-wheel. It's possible to (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Off Topic: Hopelessly looking for tires

(...) Whoops...just noticed that the 5571 wheels in that auction are actually slightly larger than the 62.4x20s that you want. Sorry for the confusion... -Gaurav Thakur, raving madman Can be reached at cp5670@supermail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Off Topic: Hopelessly looking for tires

(...) There are a few available here: (URL) the old 20x30 wheels are about the same size as these and are much easier to obtain (since they appear in many sets; the 68.8x24s are only in 5571 and 8479), so if you really cannot manage to get hold of (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: WOHOO! I got an infected mask already!

Hi Andrew (...) Although I wouldn't claim my site to be better than yours (more informative maybe, and more Bionicle related) I just uploaded the images you sent me to: (URL) like your little Onua MOC so I added that pic also, although it's not Rahi (...)
