(...) You have failed to point out that moving involves a lot of heavy lifting. This can be reduced significantly by placing heavy objects on air-cushioned platforms. Its been my experience that the notches are used to "click" them into place. Example: slowly put one into a full gray (or red) bush, you can "feel" it "click" or "lock" into place. Boy are those little notches handy, too! I remember noticing the notches very soon after I left my dark ages. Most of my 2 long axles from before my dark ages have tooth marks from being removed from some other Technic piece. And I REALLY dislike (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) LOL yup...if you have a fast and powerful hand you can create a ton of pressure within seconds with this... BTW I recently acquired a pack of two small pumps for $10US from the Dacta site...so this might be a solution if you're looking for the (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)
