Yep, I'm not too happy either. So, I propose we come up with something to call these parts (the ones collecting dust at the back of our collection). UTP: useless Technic parts SSTP: stuipidly specialized Technic parts HISUTEP: highly specialized (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) are *not* junk. The corrugated tubes are extremely useful, not only for decoration but for constructing flexible articulated touch bumpers in robots. Many of the Throwbot joints and liftarms have superfluous decorative characteristics, but are (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
