I've had this set for 3 days now, and on my first build lifting the blade was very erratic, with a lot of stopping and starting. I looked at the <link(URL) offered on the Lego site, but that wasn't an issue. I've just rebuilt it with a fix of my (...) (17 years ago, 29-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

No shortage of crane options. I like that :-) How about a large pedestal-mounted crane? (2 URLs) Now I'm biased because I built one :-) (URL) But this sort of model lends itself well to RC'ing, particularly with a 4-function control (i.e. just like (...) (17 years ago, 24-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) I fiddled with lengths in Euklides till I got a reasonnably flat and horizontal path for the foot, while keeping axle lengths even, and came up with this one. (...) Thats a nice walker. Great job, now I want to place a brickshelf order so i can get more 7L axles. :) May I ask why you went with a longer axle at the "front" of the leg?
